LICKING CANCER FOR MARCELA

I don’t have many talents. But one of them is touching my tongue to my nose. So, when my friend Marcela was diagnosed with cancer for a second time, I decided to put what little talent I have to good use and attempt to break the Guinness World Record for Longest Duration Touching Tongue To Nose.

Because I’m sad, I did a lot of training. Like, A LOT. And I made a Rocky style training montage about it. Which my twelve-year-old son Roarke shot and edited!

So, how did I go? Well, the old record was 20 min 1.21 sec, achieved by William O'Farrell (UK) in Cambridge, UK, on 11 February 2022.

I ABSOLUTELY SMASHED THE WORLD RECORD, RECORDING 50 MIN 53.04 SEC OF TONGUE TIRING STRAINING FOR THE STARS (AND MY NOSE)!

And we were able to raise more the $8,000 for Marcela’s fight!

What a moment when this certificate arrived in the mail. Perhaps the greatest achievement in the history of humanity finally recognised!
